Based in the heart of Edinburgh, Get Mortgage is an independent mortgage advice firm helping clients locally, across Scotland and throughout the UK. We provide clear, personal mortgage advice for first-time buyers, home movers, remortgages, new-build properties, buy-to-let and self-employed applicants.
Our aim is to make the mortgage process straightforward, helping you understand your options and choose a mortgage that suits your circumstances. From your initial enquiry through to mortgage offer and completion, we provide professional guidance and support throughout the process.

Monika joined Get Mortgage in 2022, bringing with her valuable experience from the banking sector and a strong understanding of mortgages, lending and the home-buying journey.
Having previously worked within a single-lender environment, Monika understands the importance of choice and flexibility when finding the right mortgage solution. At Get Mortgage, she has access to a wide range of mortgage products from across the market, allowing her to provide advice tailored to each client’s individual circumstances.
Whether helping first-time buyers purchase their first home, supporting families moving house, assisting self-employed clients, arranging remortgages or helping investors with buy-to-let properties, Monika provides clear guidance and reassurance throughout the entire process.
Her approach is simple: listen carefully, understand each client’s goals and find the solution that best fits their needs.
Monika also specialises in property protection and life insurance, helping clients protect the things that matter most, their home, their family and their future.
Known for her supportive nature, attention to detail and commitment to making the mortgage journey as stress-free as possible, Monika ensures every client feels informed and confident.
Outside of work, Monika is a proud mum to Josh. She enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, discovering new places and maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Piotr Frackiewicz

For Piotr mortgages have always been about more than finance. They are about helping people achieve important life goals and making complex decisions feel simple.
Piotr’s journey in finance began during his university years in Warsaw, where he studied Finance and Banking and developed an early interest in lending, insurance and financial planning.
After moving to the UK, Piotr began his mortgage career with respected Scottish firms such as Caesar & Howie and First Mortgage. These early roles gave him invaluable experience within the UK property and financial services sector, helping him develop a deep understanding of mortgage lending, client relationships and the importance of providing high-quality advice.
The experience gained during these formative years shaped Piotr’s approach to mortgage advice, combining professional expertise with genuine care and an understanding that behind every mortgage application there is a personal story.
With over 15 years of experience in the UK mortgage and protection industry, Piotr has established himself as a trusted adviser and leader in the field. As Founder and Head of Get Mortgage, he has helped thousands of clients successfully navigate the property purchasing process, ensuring they have the right mortgage solutions and financial protection in place for the future.
Piotr has built strong professional relationships with solicitors, estate agents, bank managers and industry professionals across the UK. His reputation has been built on reliability, transparency and always putting the client’s best interests first.
Outside of work, Piotr is a devoted husband and father of two teenage boys. He enjoys running, travelling and taking on new challenges. He has completed numerous road races, regularly participates in Parkrun 5K events around the world and is working his way through Scotland’s famous Munros — one summit at a time.
The same determination and passion that drive Piotr personally are reflected in the way he supports every client.
Dorota Frackiewicz

Dorota is one of the driving forces behind Get Mortgage, helping to bring together the many different areas that keep the business moving forward.
She also helps clients navigate the administrative side of the mortgage process, including documentation for government schemes and funding opportunities, making the journey simple, efficient, and stress-free.
Before joining the property industry, Dorota spent many years working in the nursing sector, where she developed excellent organisational skills, patience, and a strong understanding of the importance of communication and support.
Her passion for property, interior design, and renovations, together with her own experience as a landlord, gives her valuable insight into the UK property market.
Her dedication and contribution to the mortgage industry were recognised in 2022 when she was named a Mortgage Introducer Elite Woman.
Outside of work, Dorota is a proud mum of two boys. She enjoys art, galleries, travelling and exploring new places. She is also passionate about giving back to the community and actively supports charity fundraising, helping raise funds for Dementia, Parkinson’s and Cancer charities.
